Wisdom is Supreme

Wisdom Is Supreme>> Pay attention to wisdom (God's word) and you will gain understanding.  Embrace knowledge and understanding like it's your first born.  Do not abandon Godly wisdom for it is your life line.
Wisdom will guide you along straight paths. It will protect you from the enemy snares.
Godly wisdom is above all wisdom.  Do not forsake wisdom, and wisdom will not forsake you.
Fools do the opposite of what they know is right. Don't walk with foolishness; walk with wisdom.

Proverbs 5:1 Pay attention to my wisdom, listen well to my insight, that you may maintain discretion and your lips may preserve knowledge.

YOUR WORDS!

What are you speaking into your life? Words are like seeds.  They produce good and bad fruit.  It's imperative that you test your thoughts and words against biblical truth.  Are you speaking things that are contrary to biblical truth?  No matter what's happening in your life or the battles that you encounter, speak what thus says the Lord over your situation.  God word is life!

Why is it important to speak biblical truth? Read Proverbs 18:21

                                    Unwholesome talk is not beneficial

Ephesians 4:29 (NIV) Do not let any "unwholesome talk" come out of your mouths, but only what is "helpful" for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

 Understanding Proverbs

 Chapter 1:4 (Prudence) mean good judgement; good sense.     (Discretion) is the ability to plan ahead and plot a course of action with foresight. (Simple) A person who is naive and untaught, one who cannot comprehend; the simple puts forth no effort to seek wisdom. They haven't had much exposure to wisdom. Verse 1:5 the Word (Guidance) (counsel) means steering which refers to moving your life in the right direction. Verse 1:7 (Beginning) the first and controlling principle. (Fools) used here in proverbs teaches us that fools hate and avoid wisdom. Fools love doing things there own way even when they have heard the truth.

Stay On The Path

God's word teaches us wisdom and the path we should take in life. When we choose a different path from the road leading to righteousness, we can't blame anyway for our mistakes. It is our own fleshly desires and sin that ensnares us. Pay attention to the living word, and you will not have to live your life in bondage.
Proverbs 5:21For a man’s ways are in full view of the Lord,
and he examines all his paths.
22The evil deeds of a wicked man ensnare him
the cords of his sin hold him fast.
23He will die for lack of discipline,
led astray by his own great folly.
