Day 7

 Happy Mother's Day!!! I hope you all are having a wonderful day.

Today is the last day of the 7 day Challenge!!!! 

Day 7 lesson is a letter of encouragement. I know you all learned some wonderful things through the lessons God placed on my heart to prepare each day. Continue doing what you did during the challenge. Practice renewing your mind daily until its as natural as brushing your teeth or taking a bath. The benefits of it is ALWAYS rewarding. I know everyone was excited about doing the challenge. I have been receiving messages stating how the challenge has been helpful and hard. You all were determined to overcome the obstacles in order to finish. Most of you have stated that the challenge helped you reflected on the things that you were thinking and it helped you pay attention to the words you were using. The hold purpose of  this challenge was to show each of you that whatever you set your mind to do, you can accomplish it spiritually and naturally. The question is, are you willing to put the work in? Nothing comes without effort. Philippians 4:13 reminds us , we can do all this through him who gives us strength. In order to get through this challenge, you had to pray, read your word, and apply it to your life. As believers, this challenge NEVER ends. We have to be willing to examine our lives daily to see what needs improving. Then work towards that change until we are free from whatever is keeping us from being like Christ. Look at yourself in the mirror and say GREATER IS HE THAT IS WITHIN ME THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORD; I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST; I AM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR; I AM ABOVE AND NEVER BENEATH; I AM THE HEAD AND NEVER THE TAIL. You can do it! It's in you!

 Ladies, you stayed focused for 7 days because you wanted to get through the challenge and come out a winner. Take that view everyday, except, you are running a race to win for a greater purpose. 1Corinthians 12:37 reads, No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. Here, Paul is saying he disciplined himself so in the end he would not be disqualified for the prize. It's good to get a pat on the back when we complete a challenge in the natural, but it will be a sad day to get to the end of our lives and be disqualified. I'm aiming to receive my prize (crown and robe of righteousness) from my Heavenly Father. I desire his reward, therefore, I will disciplined myself so I can receive it.

Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. KEEP PRESSING TOWARDS RIGHTEOUSNESS! YOU CAN DO IT! The bible has given a daily challenge and that is to renew our minds, sanctify ourselves, and live holy. Remember righteousness NEVER ends. I love you all! Continue fighting the good fight; it's worth it.

Prayer: Lord help us to walk in all your ways. Amen!

Day 6 Lesson

Focus Verse: 1Samuel 15:22
"Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.

Daily Insight

Our actions  can create  blessings or curses. I provided the whole chapter of Deuteronomy 8 so you can understand what I mean by create blessings or curses. Everyday we have to ask ourselves,"Are my actions in alignment with obedience or sacrifice. Obedience says to renew our minds daily. Are you renewing your mind daily? Whatever God tells us to do, no matter how small it may seem, we have to be obedient and do it. God knows what's best for us naturally and spiritually. For instance, one might think, well, I'm not fornicating, gossiping, serving idols or lying so I'm good. Not sinning is good, but that's not all there is to our spiritual life. For instance, He warns us about taming our tongues, renewing our minds, loving each other, forgiveness, praying, fasting and meditating on His word day and night. I won't go into all the reasons that He require us to do those things. However, continual practice of  reading the word, renewing our minds, praying and fasting helps remove the desire to sin and mature us spiritually. Nothing that the bible tells us to do is vain, it's to help us become more like Christ. Being that this challenge was tailored around what we think and say, I will encourage you to focus on the renewing process of the mind as you move into other areas that needs development. Are you sacrificing time doing other things, instead of spending time in your word. King David said that he hid God's word in his heart to keep from sinning. Meditating on God's word, daily, will help you stay focused on the things of God, and it will train you how to walk in obedience. Meditation is a form of training whatever you meditate on trains the mind. This is why it's important not to sacrifice  your time with God. Obedience will show up in your lifestyle. What have you been doing that's causing you to be disobedient to God? What's blocking your renewing process?

Deuteronomy 8

Do Not Forget the Lord

8 Be careful to follow every command I am giving you today, so that you may live and increase and may enter and possess the land the Lord promised on oath to your ancestors. ² Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands. ³ He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. ⁴ Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years. ⁵ Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you.

⁶ Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him. ⁷ For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills; ⁸ a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; ⁹ a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills.
¹⁰ When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you. ¹¹ Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day. ¹² Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down, ¹³ and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied, ¹⁴ then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. ¹⁵ He led you through the vast and dreadful wilderness, that thirsty and waterless land, with its venomous snakes and scorpions. He brought you water out of hard rock. ¹⁶ He gave you manna to eat in the wilderness, something your ancestors had never known, to humble and test you so that in the end it might go well with you. ¹⁷ You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” ¹⁸ But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.
¹⁹ If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed. ²⁰ Like the nations the Lord destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the Lord your God.

Prayer: Lord help us to be doers of your words. Help us to apply what we learn in every situation. Amen

Focus verse Proverbs 18:21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Key  word Seed- A Source of development or growth

Daily Insight</sup>

What are you producing with your words? You will reap what you sow!

Words are like seeds that are planted in the ground.  They will grow and produce a harvest of  peace or conflict.  If we sow apple seeds, we will grow apples. It works the same with words. What we speak is powerful. Our words will become our reality.  We have to make sure our words are parallel with scripture. Understanding what God said about a situation will teach you how to view it.  How we think plays a big part in what we speak.  Negative thoughts produce negative words.  On the contrary, positive thoughts produce positive words. When we speak the word of God our situation will turn around.

 Stop using self defeated words like:
I can't.
I will never be anybody.
I'm worthless.
I'll never get a promotion.
No one loves me.
I'm broke.

Start saying what thus says the Lord:
I am more than a conqueror
I am above and not beneath.
I am the head and not the tail.
I have more than enough.
I can do all things through Christ.

Prayer  Lord help us to  control our tongues. Teach us how to speak according to your will and purpose for our lives.

Faith ConfessionThe Word of God is alive and powerful. I will use the word to speak into my situation. I will speak God's outcome. I will not speak what you I think the out come will be. I walk by faith, and not by sight.

Day 4 Lesson

Focus verse Psalm 139:24 See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Keyword Search Try to find something by looking or otherwise seeking carefully and thoroughly.

Daily Insight 
Proverbs 21:2 A person may think their own ways are right, but the LORD weighs the heart.
Pray and ask God to search your heart and reveal anything that's hindering your spiritual walk. 
Today is self examine day. Pause from your regular activity. Look at the last three lessons to see what you need to work on. Have you been using your words to glorify God? If someone watched your life for a week, would they know you were a believer? It's important that we live a life that's pleasing to God.

Ask yourself the following questions:

What can I do to make my spiritual walk better? Gal 5:16

Do I have an effective prayer life? 1Thess 5:17

What is hindering me from having an effective walk with Christ? Gal 5:7 Eliminate anything that is coming between you and God.

Do I spend time in my word? 2 Tim 2:15

It's time to take action! Read Philippians 2:12

Write your plan: How are you going to make changes? Identify the behavior and find out what the word says about it?

Prayer: Lord search my heart and reveal me to myself. Amen

Focus verse Matthew 12:36 I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.

Key word Reflection-the act of reflecting or the state of being reflected.

Daily Insight
James 1:26 Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless.

If we have to give an account for our words, I believe it's worth keeping a close eye on the things we say and think. Remember, your thoughts will eventually come out of your mouth. Your words mirror what's in your heart. The verse says we will have to given an account for every "idle" word we speak. Idle means lacking worth, vain, not occupied or employed. Let's take a look at what James 3:9-10 says about this: (With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness.Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be). A born again believer words should not mirror ungodly chatter, gossip, profanity, malice, and fits of rage. AND then in the same sentence try to quote a scripture, praise God, and witness. If you are godly, everything about you will reflected godliness. Ask yourself, am I comfortable with saying any and everything? If your answer is yes, it's time to pray for conviction. We all fall short, I know, but falling short is different from a LIFESTYLE. Lets review the meaning of lifestyle ( a way of life or style of living that reflects the attitudes and values of a person or group). 1 Peter 1:16 for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."Your lifestyle is a reflections of what you value. We cannot photoshop holiness because our fruits will reveal us. Every believer lifestyle should reflect the mind of Christ. Galatians 5:16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Lukewarm believers are offended when these issues are confronted, however, the bible gives us permission to examine the fruit within the body of Christ (Matt 7:17-20;1Cor 5:11-13; Gal 5:13-26) We must understand that some people just resemble the truth (2Cor11:14)... They have the appearance of godliness, but when you examine their fruits, you will see they lack holiness. 2Tim 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. The verse is clearly giving permission to correct these issues when they arise among believers. Later today read John chapter 15 and meditate on it. We are Christ's representatives, and we have to represent Him from the inside out.

Prayer: Lord help us develop the spirit of self-control. When we act wrongly towards others, stir our hearts so we are moved towards repentance. Help us to say things that will bring honor and glory to your name. Amen

Faith Confession: I will edify and build people up with my words; I will say things that bring honor and glory to God.

#PrayerZone Pray Quickly

                                                                      

#PrayerZone I love the life of King David... No matter what situation he was in, He turned to God first. So wonder he was titled "A man after God's own heart". When he sinned, he was quick to repent. When he was in trouble, he was quick to pray for a solution. When he lacked understanding, he was quick to pray for knowledge. When he felt lonely, he was quick to pray (prayer puts you in the presences of God and removes the feeling of abandonment). When he was happy, he prayed, praised and worshiped God. When God corrected him, he was quick to respond and get it right. When God sent Nathan to him to reveal his ungodly fruits (concerning Bathsheba) and the consequences for his actions, he didn't say stay out of my business or don't judge me (he knew he was wrong) he REPENTED and prayed. David didn't dwell in ungodliness nor did he make excuses for it. We have to take on this view and stay before the presences of the Lord so He can cleanse us over and over again until we reach heaven. We should always have a heart that's willing to repent and do the will of God. God said if we love Him we will obey Him. When we're not doing what we know we're suppose to, it should make us remorseful and move us towards repentance. "A man/woman after God's own hearts" understand that sin separates them from God. Therefore, they hurry to get things right with God. David said when he sinned that it was against God and Him only. when you do wrong, you're doing it against God. Hurry and repent! Stay in His presences! Pray Quickly about everything.

Day 2 Lesson

Day 2 Our focus Verse Roman 12:2 (Key word): Conform -Comply with rules, standards, or laws.
(Daily insight)
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. In order for us not to conform to the patterns of this world, we have to understand the mind of Christ. Only then will we be able to (test) and (approve) what His good, pleasing and perfect will is.... He provides us with information about His good, pleasing and perfect will in the B-I-B-L-E. We must test our thoughts, actions and words against the mind of Christ (daily) to see if He approves it. If our thoughts aren't in alignment with His perfect will, it's our job to cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalt itself against the knowledge of God, and bring into captivity every thought (actions, behavior, words), to the obedience of Christ.
Our thoughts will eventually become our actions and words. As a man thinketh so is he. If you plant a apple seed, you are going to grow apples. You can't feed yourself corruption then expect to produce Godly fruits. Read Galatians 5:19-21 to learn more about the sinful nature. The bible says that the sinful nature is obvious; it's not hard to understand. You have to make a choice to give up the world's patterns and stop living by their standard. Take time to review the fruits of the spirit Galatians 5:22-24. Proverbs teaches that the prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty. Are you going to stop conforming to the world's pattern? Or Will you be like the simple and pay the penalty? It's your choice! God doesn't force His will onto people, but (for me and my house), we are going to serve the Lord with our whole heart. Take refuge in God!

(Prayer) Lord lead us down the path of righteousness for your name sake, Amen

Never miss another prayer!!!

There's a app called Prayer Popper.... this is a good app that will remind you to pray daily and you can create your prayer list and different things you like to pray about daily. The prayer list/request pops up on your phone at the time you set. Also, when people ask you to pray for them you can put it into your prayer popper and it will remind you. I think it's kool. It's better to be reminded then to miss praying all together. Prayer is sooooo important. I just want to help you all engage more in prayer and build a stronger prayer life. Prayer is a lifestyle!

Our focus verse Ep4:29-32 Our key word EDIFY- What does that mean? To INSTRUCT especially so as to ENCOURAGE intellectual, moral, or spiritual IMPROVEMENT.

Daily Insight: As believers, we should be living a life that "edify" "encourage" and "improve" people intellectually and spiritually. Our words/post/ fruits are suppose to instruct/direct people towards godly behavior and HOLINESS. In order for you to be a teacher through your actions, you have to get your own intellect straight by getting rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. These bad fruits will not produce a positive attitude, words, or post. You can only give people what's inside of you. As a man thinketh so is he. Everything you do and say is a reflection of you. If you are a TRUE believer, you should ALWAYS want to reflected a Godly character. You should NEVER have an "I don't care attitude" when it comes to ungodly behavior.... that spirit is not from God. Don't say,"Don't judge me" if you know you're wrong. Spiritual Adults enjoy correction. A fool continue in his/her ways and pay the penalty. Proverbs 1:5 let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance—

Prayer: Lord, search our heart and see if there is any offensive ways and remove them. Fill our hearts with love.

1 Week Challenge: Are you in?

Who's up for a CHALLENGE?
How many of you are willing to go a week (one whole week) without mentioning something about the (enemy, devil, satan, negativity) in your post, text messages, and conversations (some of you will probably have to stop posting and talking all week, LOL) Who's willing to go a week without posting something draining, negative and depressing? Spend a WHOLE week (one little week) posting about God's goodness and love plus other positive and up lifting things. I just think it's sad that 90% of believers walk around sounding and acting defeated. OUR GOD IS JOY. So

Who's in? We will start Monday May 6 til Monday May 13 that's just 1 little week to speak and act positive. Carry a note book around with you anytime you say something negative jot it down along with the thoughts you were thinking at that time. Then, search out the bible concerning the matter. WHO'S IN just one little week. Can you allow ALL the glory to go towards GOD for one week?

If you are in, our focus verses will be Ephesians 4:29-32, Philp 4:6, Romans 12:2, and 2Cor 10:5, Matthew 12:36, Proverbs 18:21.... Remember it's just one week THAT'S ALL :)

Grasshoppers Shut UP!

Don't believe the people with the grasshopper mentality report! They are delusional. People that lack faith see all kinds of things that are not real. They haven't received their promises because of doubt and fear. God is moved by faith. You're almost there.... Remember God's report: He said be strong and courageous. He got'cha. Keep building!

IDENTITY!

You will not find your identity in things/people. What happens when those things break and those people walk away? Your identity goes with it because your identity was never based on TRUTH.... the things of this world will perish, but God's truth concerning you lives forever. Learn who you are in Christ so when something happens (to your things/relationships) it will be just a situation instead of a crisis. A crisis causes us to panic because we feel like it can't be resolved. As long as you have life in your body, you can get through it. You might not like it, but you can do it.

Okay... So your enemy is talking about you, lying on you, and acting ill towards you (That's their Job; it's an enemy). KOOL! Sounds like an opportunity to build your spiritual success resume. Buy them a cute outfit and speak a blessing over their lives or you can reciprocate their actions and miss a chance at climbing up the MATURITY LADDER. The point is you have a Job as a believer to respond a certain way with your actions. ACTIONS are a CHOICE. There comes a time where you have to practice what you're learning or you will not mature/grow in that area. The enemy wants you to stay at a immature level so you can't defeat him. Doing evil for evil will not produce a profit of LOVE. Love outweighs hate, madness, and bitterness. Whatever you do, DON'T do what your enemies do :)
Proverbs 21If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat;
if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.
22 In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head,
and THE LORD WILL REWARD YOU!

INCREASING while decreasing

Don't worry about the numbers in the building: Focus on how many lives are being transformed/saved. If people lives are not being changed, what's the point of increasing in numbers? Numbers feed the ego... The love of Christ focus on souls, not numbers. The angels will rejoice over one, but human nature says once you've reached a certain number/status you must be doing something. Many churches are increasing in numbers while decreasing in transformation. #BackwardsThinking

Follow His Lead!

Don't miss out on your blessing just because you can't see the "HOW" keep walking and trust God. Follow His lead! He ALWAYS leads us down the path of righteousness.

INTERVENTION!! What kind?

Some people intervention is to HINDER you, not help you.
(1 Peter 5:8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.)

IT'S SUNDAY MORNING!!!

 Ps34:1 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.


When you know you're VICTORIOUS, you don't have to wait for certain conditions in order to praise God. Some people have to wait for the piano and drums on Sunday morning in order to praise Him. God isn't just a Sunday morning God. He's in control everyday, so praise Him everyday like it's Sunday morning :-)

PLOTTING EVIL

Who are you plotting evil against? Watch out; you're digging your own trap. Proverbs26:27 Whoever digs a pit will fall into it;
if someone rolls a stone, it will roll back on them.

TRAIN THEM!

 PARENTS: it's our job to train and teach our children about God.   

1.  The Church leaders play apart, but it's not their job to do/take care of what God placed into your care. When they go to church, it should be a recap of what they're learning at home from you. You are the first role model that they see. NO EXCUSES! If you're not saved, it's not to late... Get in a relationship with God so your children can see the God in you instead of only seeing it in his/her Pastor, Sunday school teacher, youth Pastor, or Minister. You need to be the first label they see as Holy. 

 

2.  It's tight but it's right: Practice what you're sending them to church to learn. Whatever child that is in your custody biological or not, it's your responsibility to teach them the ways of God. PERIOD!

 

3.  Don't claim that the bible is hard to understand: The things that you need to teach them doesn't require deep revelation to understand. It's your job to read your bible. There are a lot of resources out there: we use the internet for everything else, so try GOOGLE for some of the answers. We want to put everything off on the leaders and saying what they're not doing, but What about YOU, you're the PARENT. #CaseClosed

Proverbs 22:6Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.

Deuteronomy 6: 6And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. 7Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. 8Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. 9Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

So You Mad At God!

 

Why are you mad at God?

It was your unwise decisions and choices that caused the situation.(Proverbs19: 3 A person’s own FOLLY leads to their ruin, yet their heart rages against the Lord.) 

Popular cliche: Why God let this happen to Me? Did you forget about some of the decisions and choices you made w/o including Him into the plan>>>that's what landed you there (foolish choices and decisions).

Quick To Listen!

  Be quick to listen and slow to speak.... When you're in a conversation, wait until the person is done speaking instead of trying to finish what you think they're going to say. Not only that, wait until someone finish stating their question before you try to provide an answer.

 BAD listening skills is waiting for the person to be quiet, so you can start talking: That shows the only thing you were thinking about was the next thing you wanted to say (which is usually off topic).

GOOD Listening skills is being able to tune in to what the person is talking about and after they're finished you're able to restate what they said in your own words to show you were listening. AND you're able to give feed back on the "subject" that was being discussed.

Powerful verse: Walk with the WISE and become wise,
for a companion of fools suffers harm (Proverbs 13:20). Meditate on that verse: What type of people are you surrounded by? Bad company corrupts good character.... Start hanging around people that will enhance your growth. If a skunk sprays someone, everyone will know that he/she encounter a skunk. What are the people (that you hang around) spraying into your life? What will you walk away smelling like ( a fool or the wise)?

EMBRACE CORRECTION

 

 

  Embrace Correction

The following verse reminds me of people who hate constructive criticism. Proverbs 12:12 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid.
We have to be able to receive wise counsel even when it doesn't feel good. Embrace correction so you can grow both spiritually and naturally. Let's review the meaning of discipline: >>>training that corrects, molds, or perfects the mental faculties or moral character. Discipline is Training that's why it's wise to embrace God's word and listen to the people that God has trained and equipped to help you grow. It will help mold your character.

No Work=No Results

 

Wow, Ladies, are you feasting on your spiritual breakfast (Proverbs 10). I think I want to blog about every verse in that chapter. Ummmm, LOL. Today's lesson shows you the out come of wise and foolish choices. I was thinking about verse 4 Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth. If you think about it, this can relate to spiritual things, too. You have to put the work in by building a personal relationship with God, studying your word, praying, fasting and applying what you learn to your life if you want to see change and be spiritually rich. Even when I think of things in the natural concerning verse 4, it reminds me of people who talk about their dreams, talk about how they want to change their current situation, complain about life not being fair, yet you never see them putting any work in to make their dreams happen or change their current situation. Ask yourself, "What will it take to get to where I want to be spiritually and naturally"? Are you finish? Now create a plan of action that will get you there. Make a commitment for a week to research what you desire to do. See what sacrifice it will take: ex. time, money, tools. Then, set a goal to pursue that dream. If it's time management that's hindering you, what can you eliminate that's a waste of time in order to pursue "your" dream. Maybe it's money, you might have to cut back on getting your nails and toes done to pursue "your" dream. It's your dream! How bad do you want it?! Next month, I will be sharing with you guys how to set goals. It's all about being intentional: wishful thinking are thoughts that pass through, but never manifest. 

    One of my dreams is to help women grow spiritually and naturally, so they can become all God destined for them to be. I don't just sit around and wait for women to come to me. I reach out to them with the resources that I have and those that want it reach back. I am currently working with 6 women one on one who reached back because they want to change and be/have what God predestined for them. You have to do something with the dream that's inside of you, you can't expect for other people to do it for you. Your dream and gift will help someone. There are some people who's waiting for what you have inside of you; it's going to help lead and guide them into their destiny. 

    In 2007 EWFB started out as a book group, I invited 7 women to my home and started teaching them and sharing God's wisdom. Then God begin to show me the bigger vision and plan for EWFB which was "His Plan" to help women grow into successful Godly women both naturally and spiritually through home groups, via cyber space, conference calls, one on one mentoring and so much more. As I continued to be obedient to what God was sharing with me about leading women, I wanted to sharpen my skills (although I had a natural ability to help women) I wanted to learn more about the area that God called me to so I took some classes and received my certification in Life Enrichment, Life Transitions, Life Problems, Martial Life, and Family Life at Light University (American Association of Christian Counselors). Those classes helped a lot because I wasn't just going to be teaching about spiritual things. I needed to learn about all of a woman needs including the natural side (you have to be balance). While I was doing that I also had my own daycare business "Covered by Angels" so I had to make time for "my vision". While the kids were napping, I was studying. You're seeing the results of my commitment to my call and destiny. I shared that to say this: Dreams and visions takes work and being equipped. You have to decide to put your hands to work. GOSSIP

Proverbs 20:19
A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid a man who talks too much.

Life Lesson: If someone shows you that they love to gossip and you KNOW they're known for spreading people business, why would you invest into them. Then complain about them not being loyal. They're not the problem, YOU are: You do not know how to make wise decisions! Your business is not "special" to a gossiPER. They are not going to put it in a "don't tell box". Character flaws don't change over night...neither do they change just because you think you're special to the person. Gossip is an addiction and people who are addicted to it loves juicy information. Their mission will not be complete until they share it with somebody. Lastly, if you don't gossip, but you love being an ear piece for the gossiPER, you AIN'T no better because you help support their addiction by supplying your ear. #PutTheGossiPERsOutOfBusiness

 IMPOSTER : Are you compulsively looking for completion (from a man) to the point you're willing to except less than God's best? Or tip around with someone else husband? Everything that look good ain't, and everything that smell good AIN'T CLEAN (you can't smell diseases or insanity). The enemy knows how to transform into the thing you want; He's a good imposter (remember he transformed into an angel). And some will even cheat with you on their wives? Still don't make it right! Why would you want the crumbs when you can wait for the loaf. According to Proverbs ch 5, The adulterous woman comes sweet like honey with sweet talk that's smoother than oil; but in the end she is bitter as gall and her feet leads to the GRAVE. In the story the father was teaching his son wisdom, and he warns him to pay attention to GODLY WISDOM because it will save your life from natural and spiritual death. SN: The Adulterous woman is also symbolic for sin and the things that we chase in this world that look so appealing in the beginning, however, the end results is never good. Get in your word, so the word can get in you. You'd rather for the word to get in you than a disease or end up with a insane fool. Wait for God to fill your void; He's the only one that can.

DIE TO THE OLD MINDSET

^{The living dead/walkers are people who were infected by some type of  unknown disease that caused them to come alive after they died. When they came back to life, they didn't come back with their natural human abilities. They came back as zombies. They have no conscious, ability to think rationally, or self-awareness. According to the movie they travel towards noise and fresh blood (alive humans & animals).}

Romans 12:2

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

In the movie,  they had to kill the Walkers  in order to save their own lives.  It was a specific way they had to kill them in order for them to die for good. They had to shoot them in the head or drive a sharp object through their brain. If you were bitten by one, you would be infected and it was just a matter of time before you turned into a Walker. After they turned, they did not have the ability to  think logically, rationalize between good and bad or remember who their family and friends were. They became enemies to the living regardless of who or what they were: if they turned while sitting next to their best friend, you best to believe they were going to bite them without thinking twice about it.  

 Point: In order to have the mind of Christ, we have to die to our old way of thinking and living. You can not dwell with the things that will hinder you from living for Christ. Philippians 2:5
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. Your old life style will conflict with your new life style James 4:4 Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Just like the Walkers are enemies to the living, likewise, your flesh war against the spirit.Galatians 5:17 For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.
1Corinthians 2:14 The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Point: If your mind is not renewed daily, you will contaminate other people. And if you're continuously, putting yourself around people who are not trying or can careless about changing, they will contaminate you. It's time to get serious about your salvation rather than finding reasons to justify ungodly behavior. Put more effort into finding out what God wants you to do instead of trying to make your wrong right (2Corinthians 6:17).

  In order to stay alive, the group had to separate themselves from the Walkers or kill them when approached . Although they were dead, they were very strong in packs. If you were trapped in a blocked area, it would be over for you.  1Peter 5:8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

Point: Your environment and whoever you spend most of your time with will influence your life. Don't think because you're saved that you're exempt from being bit by sin or temptation.  When you start making changes in your life, you have to do away with your old life style. You have to make a decision to separate yourself from anything that will hinder your spiritual journey.

 In the movie, before they learned how to kill the Walkers, they would shoot and stab them anywhere on their bodies. Their lack of knowledge about the walkers caused many of  them to be bitten. They fail to realize that shooting or stabbing them anywhere didn't kill them it only knocked them down for a second. And of course, they felt comfortable and at ease, until the monster jumped back up and attacked them.
Hosea 4: 6 My people perish from a lack of knowledge.

Matt 26:41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
 Point: This reminds me of some believers (including myself  ) we think we have it all together quoting our scriptures, looking like we fell straight out of heaven on cloud 9, thinking we can still sneak and do what we want, speaking words into other people  lives when it should be for us, pointing fingers and throwing stones and before you know it the enemy has jumped us. Then, we're right back doing the same old stuff. This is a sad thing because when we fail to do it God's way and go off of our own knowledge and wisdom, we end up contaminating people that we were suppose to be leading to Christ. They start thinking it's okay to slack, it's okay to have sex before marriage, it's okay to gossip and talk about people then smile in their faces. Before you know it, everybody in that group is now contaminated and living a double life while screaming the most famous quote DON'T JUDGE ME.  Are people really judging you? Or are your fruits exposing you? Read Matthew 7:16. Ungodly behavior is NOT OF GOD! When I go to the market to buy apples, I go directly to them I don't mistake them for oranges. Listen to wise counsel and you will prosper spiritually (Proverbs15:22).

When some of the people family members were bitten, they would try to keep them locked in a room. They didn't want to believe that they had turned into  zombies. Some would keep them hoping that they would find a cure to turn them back. If one of the group members found out about it, they would encourage them to get rid the family member because it was detrimental to the group.

Point: This is for the people who use "DON'T JUDGE ME" out of context: just like the members of the group who wanted to hold on to their contaminated family members, some of you don't want to let go of sin even though you know it's wrong. Instead of accepting the help and encouragement, it's easier to use the famous quote "DON'T JUDGE ME". Everybody around you are not trying to harm you, there are some true believers that really want to see you living for God. Spirit lead people can see that the fruits are corrupting your life.  Learn to listen to constructive criticism. The only cure for sin is Jesus Christ. If you're waiting for another way, you will not find it.
 
James 1:15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

  

Something for you to think about: Read Matthew Chapter 7 don't just stop at verse one pay attention to verse 3 (read the whole chapter) What message was He really trying to convey? Is it don't judge me? Or Don't be a hypocrite? Do He want us to examine ourselves first before we try to fix someone else life while living hypocritically?   Does God want us to show mercy and grace like he has shown to us rather then pretend to have it all together while condemning our brothers and sisters to hell? Would we want to be punished the same way that we desire for God to punish someone else? In verse 7 was it forbidden to get the dirt out of your brothers eye? Or Were we suppose to check ourselves first then pursue to help them? How will we know what's around us if we don't cross examine people against the word? It's interesting, check out verses 15-29? In order to tell if something is good or bad, don't we have to know what "good" and "bad"is? Should we form a thought about someone before knowing or examining them? read 1John 1-4
